Yvonne Dubbers is project manager at TAAK. She obtained her BA in Theater Design from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht in 2009. She then worked as a theater designer at various theater companies. In 2016 she received her MA in Modern and Contemporary Art from Utrecht University. The subject of her graduate thesis was art and climate activism, so her main interest lies in projects on social and political movements in society.
For TAAK she researched the changing vision on crime and punishment from the 1970s to the present in the project PI Zaanstad, after which she developed the various program components of the subsequent project A Hole and A Wall. In addition, she’s developing the new program line Stad en Land, which explores, together with artists, the meaning and function of green border areas between city and countryside.
